Help out the Numenoreans by attacking their enemies and bringing an item they want. Or you could kill everyone in the camp and then try and find their hidden treasure.
After getting the reward for this quest you can give A great numenorean warshield to An injured Uruk-hai commander in The commander's room to complete Petr Forest: Elf-skin Bota.
You do not have to kill the first three Numenoreans in the camp in order to pass them, however they will block anyone from leaving who has the shield.
If you have killed in this camp during this reboot you will automatically be attacked by any of the Numenoreans in the camp, preventing you from completing this quest without killing them all.
If you do not mind killing the Numenoreans (or cannot do the quest any other way due to alignment or other reasons). You can simply kill everything in the camp as follows.
do path,ne,kill soldier
The two A numenorean soldier and one A wounded numenorean soldier protect each other and are relatively tough. When they are dead.
do e,kill sergeant
When A seasoned numenorean sergeant is dead.
do look behind boulder,get shield
If you wish to help out the Numenoreans. First get the reward from Petr Forest: Elf-skin Bota by killing the Uruk-Hai (and not getting the quest point). Once you have An elf-skin bota (which has to be full) or A glass amulet return to the Numenorean campsite and do the following.
do path,ne,e,give <item> to sergeant
A seasoned numenorean sergeant will thank you and give you the shield as a reward.
