Claim the spear of a warrior of the Rohirrim.
A deadly dark spear (Unique).
Start at the Minas Tirith signpost.
Scour the fields of the Pelennor to find a warrior carrying a special spear, then kill him and take it.
Unfortunately you are going to have to search the Pelennor fields in order to find Eonaros, a warrior of the Rohirrim. He is only there during the evening running into the nighttime (from around 5pm It is late in the evening in Middle-earth. until about 7pm It is night in Middle-earth.). He will often spawn on the travelto between Minas Tirith and Edoras.

If you do not find him like that then you will have to search to locate him. If you find him and the unique is in (he will be carrying the weapon) then you simply have to kill him in order to take his spear.

He is not a particularly tough fight however he can periodically knock you unconscious for a few rounds. When he is dead you will get your quest point and can take the spear from his corpse.
