Find and repair an ancient elven sword.

You are going to have to locate a sword which has been broken into two pieces. The first is hidden in this room somewhere, perhaps by searching the bed you may discover it.
The second piece of the sword is hidden in a secret treasure room near Erestor, however you are going to need a key of some sort to get to it. Unfortunately the key has also been broken into two pieces.
The first piece is in the stables of Rivendell but you will need a tool in order to discover it. The hermit in the forest owns such a tool, but he will not part with it for free, you might find something he likes in the nearby forge.
The second part of the key part has been lost somewhere in the forest and may be protected by an army.
Once you have both pieces of the key you can reassemble them and open the secret treasure room to find the second piece of the broken sword.
When you have both pieces you must find someone to repair the sword for you and then return it to its rightful owner.

Now you are going to have to search The Plains of Rivendell until you find A large anthill. Once you have foundthe anthill.
reach into anthill
You will be attacked by A regiment of soldier ants. When they are dead.

This will reveal A broken brass ornament.
do drop broken sword,get ornament,assemble ornament
This will give you An ancient bronze medallion.
do wear medallion,get broken sword
Now you should return to the Rivendell signpost, once you have done that you can carry on.
do 2ne,4e,n,insert medallion into painting,wear medallion
This will open a new exit in the room opening.
do opening,pry panel,get sword blade
This will give you A radiant sword blade.
do out,s,5w,5n,mend sword
An elven blacksmith is here, working hard will then mend the sword for you and give you The sacred Makilotyar.
do 5s,5e,s,give sword to elrond
Elrond Half-elven, Lord of Rivendell will be very grateful and give you your reward.
