A simple shield.
Offer your help, then find 3 rabbits in the place the woodman tells you. Kill them and present their pelts to him for your reward.

A wounded woodsman will ask you to kill some rabbits for him.

Now you are ready to find a rabbit. You can do this in several ways. The first way is to search the forests of Rivendell trying to find rabbits to kill (you will need three). However there is a slightly easier way, there are three rabbits hiding in the forest within the quest. In order to find them do the following.
do push brush,kill rabbit
When A large brown rabbit perks its ears as you draw closer is dead.
do wield knife,skin corpse,garden,cottage,n,present pelt to woodsman,s,garden,forest
Now you are ready to kill another rabbit.
do do part grass,kill rabbit
When the rabbit is dead.
wield knife,skin corpse,garden,cottage,n,present pelt to woodsman,s,garden,forest
Now you need to find one more rabbit.
do shift rocks,kill rabbit
When it is dead.
do wield knife,skin corpse,garden,cottage,n,present pelt to woodsman
The woodsman will now give you your reward.
