You will find A small boy and A tired looking man here. Now you should wait and watch as the story unfolds. Eventually you will see Navin leaves deeper into the cave. and a new exit will open (deeper).

Now wait until Xertan, an amazingly strong troll leaves deeper into the cave and Navin slumps against a nearby wall asks you to avenge his son (another new exit will open deeper).
