Free a Corsair trapped in Linhir.
A sailors cutlass or A magnificent silver goblet and A silver candlestick or 150-200 gold.
Find a way past the sailors, then convince the captain to let you help him. Track down the warehouse the Corsair is being held in. Find a way in and then free the Corsair. Return to the ship to claim your reward.
You can get A handful of glittering gems after you are capable of passing the two A burly sailor at the quest entrance (by killing or being evil).

If you simply want A sailors cutlass you can avoid most of this quest (and not get the quest point) by simpy killing A weathered man with a stern glance and taking the cutlass from his corpse.
Before starting this quest it would be wise to have a permit for Linhir from Getting a permit for Linhir.
First we have to get past the 2 A burly sailor. If you are evil (or disguised as evil) then you can simply walk past them so you can skip the next 2 parts.

When both A burly sailor are dead (or you were evil/disguised as evil).

Be careful here, as you cannot start this part of the quest whilst you have "wimpy" turned on. The command above turns it off. If you would like to re-enable it (after the next fight has finished).

After a short period Smithers, the ship's bosun will come in and attack you.
If you have turned wimpy back on at this point you will fail the brawl immediately, be thrown off the ship and if you did not kill the sailors at the entrance be prevented from entering again A burly sailor blocks your path, growling: You have proven yourself unworthy to board our ship!. In order to continue after this point you will have to kill the sailors and start the brawl again.
Once you get the bosun close to death he will walk off The bosun concedes defeat and stalks off.. Shortly after that A weathered man with a stern glance will trust you and explain to you that a Corsair is trapped inside Linhir and they need to get him out, he will then provide you with A twisted crowbar. Wait until the end when he says The captain says: There ye go. From what little we know of the place our man is being held, this may come in handy. Off with you now, and luck to ye!.

If you did not manage to get a permit for Linhir you will have to kill the guard who has joined you. After you have killed the guard (or you had a permit).

Now you have two options to get into the wareouse. If for some reason you did not get the crowbar you can still get into the warehouse, though you will have to lose 15 health.

You will either smash the window, or you will miss. If you miss then you can keep trying until you manage to hit the window. Once the window is smashed You throw the pebble hard at the window. The glass shatters!.

You should now be in a room with A shifty-eyed man and A prisoner.

When he is dead.

Now wait a few seconds until you see The former prisoner looks you in the eye as if trying to memorize your face. He takes your hand and shakes it weakly. He then turns to go. He hobbles off more quickly than you would have imagined possible and is rapidly out of sight..

A weathered man with a stern glance will thank you and say Captain says in a loud voice: You've done well indeed, mate! Meet me below deck in the treasure hold for your reward. I'll let you pick from three boxes, your choice!.

If you want A sailors cutlass (If the captain has it on him, if not you will get gold).

If you take too long to decide then the captain will get bored and leave Captain tells you: You have taken too long! I don't have more time to waste on you!.
