Ambush an Easterling camp
A pair of steel gauntlets (the main reward) and A curved, Rhunic scimitar and A spiked, double-bladed polearm and An easterling bow and two A dragon-crest helmet and two A steel breastplate inlaid with gold and A black leather quiver (with five A steel-tipped arrow inside).
Find a way to camouflage yourself whilst in the camp, perhaps a disguise of some sort. Then find a way to start a fire behind one of the buildings in order to distract the Easterlings. Once the fire has started help the Dwarves who turn up defeat the Easterlings.
If you refrain from using special attacks during the combat the Dwarves will take the majority of the damage.
If you can cast the levitate spell you will be able to levitate out of harms way during the fight and allow the Dwarves to finish the fight for you without taking damage.
You can kill An easterling commander and An easterling bodyguard in The commander's office before you set the fire if you want to make the quest easier to survive, though this is a somewhat tough fight without the dwarves.

After the next set of commands you will be placed in combat with several Easterlings for a while before several Dwarves come and join the fight.

You can now wait a few seconds until you hear A dwarven battlecry can be heard in the distance!.

You will now be attacked by An easterling commander and An easterling bodyguard. After a few seconds more you will see An archer passes by you and smells the scent of oil. The easterlings attack in a blind rage! and you will be attacked by A weary easterling archer and A husky easterling warrior and A bruised easterling warrior. You now need to survive for a few seconds until you see The dwarves charge into the area and join the battle!. You will now be joined in the fight by A vengeful dwarf captain and three A vengeful dwarf warrior. If you get very low on health and have to leave you can do the following (but will fail the quest).

Once all the Easterlings are dead you will see Captain says to you: Good work! It looks like you were the one that set their armoury on fire, right? For your help, take whatever you want from these corpses and we'll gather up the rest. Those gauntlets on the commander look like fine armour.. You can now take anything (as much as you can carry) from the corpses as your reward. You have also gained your quest completion. Once you leave the Dwarves will gather anything you have left behind.
