Raid and loot the vault in Pelargir

Also a chunk of experience, how much increases with your level.
Find a way to break into the vault, perhaps getting the guard drunk would allow him to give you information as to where the key is. Then intercept a message to the captain of the city guard and impersonate a guard in order to obtain the key. Once you have the key you can get into the vault. Now you have to get out! Perhaps you can find a way out through the well. Maybe you can find a way out through the ventilation shaft. You might be able to find some places to hide within the vault and escape later. Possibly you can disguise yourself so that the guards don't recognise you.
By completing this quest you will gain an extra line on your description that says A golden glint sparks in your eye..
Each time you fail this quest a different way for the first time, you will receive experience as a reward.
OK, first things first, you cannot get any of this loot out of the vault. The only reward for this quest is the quest point so despite the vast riches you're never going to get rich from this quest.
Secondly, you're going to have to fail this quest 5 times in order to actually complete it. Lets start with getting you into the vault.

Now you need to wait in this room until A tired courier comes in with a message of A tired courier enters the room and sits heavily on the couch. (he may already be there). The courier will come roughly every 5 minutes, stay for 5 minutes and then leave. He will then repeat the cycle. Once he has arrived.

You need to find a courier which is carrying a message for Aledric, Captain of the City Guard. Once you have found the correct courier there are two ways to get the message from him.

He will thank you and go and talk to Elgard, Commander of the Guard then return and say Aledric says in Westron: Ok, now if you could do me a favor; go tell one of these lazy bastards downstairs to report in full official armour to Elgard right away. I still need a nap..
Now we need to get ourselves a set of guard gear.
First go and buy enough alcohol that would get a level 19 drunk (3 bottles of red wine from the Pelargir tavern will do).
Now return to the starting position of the quest (The Keep's basement).

After the next command you will be trapped in the vault and have to escape, it may be wise to bring a light source.

Now, we are in the vault, in order to get the quest point we have to try to escape 5 different ways (being caught every time). The items listed in the quest reward are in the 2 chests here, in the left and right cases (after you open them) and you can simply take the armour and the sword (however unless you have a very specific reason to take it all out then there is no real reason.
The first method of escaping. You will need a knife and a light source for this (or be able to see in the dark).

Simply wait and eventually the guards will break into the vault, catch you, take everything you looted and throw you onto the street The guards rudely drop you on the ground, and you painfully feel the cold stones of the Plaza. However, you feel you have learned something!.
The second way of escaping. You will need a long weapon (like a sword) and a light source for this (or be able to see in the dark).

However, you feel you have learned something, and for good this time! You must have tried all that you could have tried; there must be no exits from this vault!
After you have finished the quest you will be rewarded with your quest point and obtain the extra line on your description.
