Loot the Minas Tirith armoury.
Any two of the following.
A shining steel helmet or A superb black helmet
A jet black hauberk
Robes and surcoat of black and silver or An emblazoned surcoat
A set of steel leg vambraces
A set of steel arm vambraces
Find a way into the vault, then take what you want from it.
First you should check the two guards here.

If one (or both) of the guards are carrying A smooth gold key then you are ready to continue.
kill guard
When both A royal guard mans the door (they protect each other) are dead.
do get key from corpse,get key from corpse 2,unlock south door,drop key,s
Now you get to choose which rewards you want. You can take up to two different rewards. If you try to take more you will see Two pieces of armour have already been taken. If you take any more, someone will become suspicious and guard the storeroom more heavily!.
If you want to take the hauberk.
get hauberk
If you want to take one of the helmets (chosen randomly).
get helmet
If you want to take one of the surcoats (chosen randomly).
get surcoat
If you want to take the arm vambraces.
get arm vambraces
If you want to take the leg vambraces.
get leg vambraces
Once you have taken what you want.
