Find and repair a long lost shield in Cirith Ungol.
A magnificent moon shield.
Find a bottle of oil and a rag to polish with, then locate a hidden room in the shrine to find a lost shield. Polish it to return it to its former glory.
First off some warnings before starting this quest. The guards in Cirith Ungol wander around and if they enter a room to find you in combat with one of the other citizens of Cirith Ungol then they will join in the fight against you. They also slowly hunt anyone they are in combat with. If you see one of them come in you can leave the room before you land your next hit. This will keep you out of combat with them tnd you can wait for them to leave and continue your fight as before.
Now we are ready to begin the quest.
kill krackle
Krackle the smith is a tough fight so be careful. When he is dead.
do get bottle from corpse,wear bottle
This will give you A small blue bottle on a string.
do s,w,3s,se,kill orc
When An orc soldier polishes his sword is attacked he will become A gleeful orc soldier. When he is dead.
get rag from corpse
This will give you A small polishing rag.
do nw,3n,e,u,2w,s,w
Now, make sure you heal before you start the next fight, as you will be unable to use this healer afterwards.
kill shaman
An orc shaman is not a particularly tough fight however he can heal himself whilst fighting. When he is dead.
do push eye,pull cover,detach shield
This will give youA large tarnished shield.
do open bottle,pour oil onto rag,polish shield
After a short period you will see Your eyes widen as your efforts are rewarded and you behold a magnificent moon shield! and you will get your reward and quest point.
