Find the amulet of immortality and give it to Calgan.
If you kill Calgan, a minor noble after giving him the amulet he will throw it away as he dies (With the last of his strength, Calgan tosses the amulet far away and out of your reach.), leaving you unable to loot it.
First complete Getting the amulet of immortality then return to the quest start. You may have to search the house a little as Calgan, a minor noble wanders around a bit. Once you have found him.
give amulet to calgan
This will give you your reward and quest point.
